Septic Sense Workshop
There are a t least three guarantees in life. Most of us know the first two, death and taxes. Often we overlook the third item: poop. Every living thing excretes waste. How we handle it can have significant impacts on our quality of life.
A well-placed and properly functioning septic system is an effective method of treatment and disposal. If you own one, congratulations, you are a sewer manager. It's operation and maintenance are your duty and your system's successful operation will require an educated, hands-on approach.

FREE workshop on Tuesday, August 5, at 6:00 p.m at 6871 State Route 106 (next to Cameo)on the barge. Teri King, a water quality specialist from the Washington Sea Grant Program at the University of Washington is the workshop instructor. She has taught septic system education classes and written numerous publications over the past 20 years
